Hi and welcome to Boyd Hair & Beauty. Since establishing this exclusive independent salon in Carlisle, Cumbria some 30 plus years ago I can honestly say I have enjoyed working in the exciting and progressive world of fashion hair and beauty.

I’m proud of our team of stylists, trainees and beauty therapists many of whom have come through our extensive internal training programme and are committed to providing an exceptionally high standard of expertise for our clients.

Hair & Beauty Specialists

At Boyd we specialise in the three C’s - Cutting, Colouring, and Conditioning. Our hair stylists and beauty therapists offer consultations before appointments and are happy to give individual advice on looking after your hair and skin in between salon visits.

At Boyd Hair & Beauty we only use top quality products such as Kerastase, L’oreal Professional, GHD and Redken. In our Carlisle beauty salon we use Guinot and Dermalogica. All these products and more are available to purchase from our extensive in salon range along with free professional advice.

Staff training is an integral part of our business, our stylists and therapists are continually attending national hair and beauty seminars ensuring we keep abreast of today’s ever changing innovations in the hair and beauty world. At our Carlisle Bank Street Salon, pictured above, we also host L’oreal professional training seminars attended by our own stylists and stylists from other salons.

Client comfort is foremost in our thoughts. We offer a fully air conditioned salon with climate control, complimentary coffee and herbal teas are available. For those clients on one of our day retreats we can if requested supply a light lunch.

We always strive to ensure our clients receive the ultimate in service and advice on the latest trends, products, treatments and innovations within hair and beauty.
