I had a blonde balayage/highlights done today and I'm chuffed with the results! Claire did an amazing job and I knew was in excellent hands! I was offered tea and coffee as soon as I walked in and everyone was super welcoming! Thank you!

I’m so happy to have found Boyd hairdressers after moving to Carlisle recently. I decided to go here based on the good reviews I had read online, and wanted to leave my own. I often find hair salons extremely overwhelming- but this felt like the opposite. It’s really spacious in there so even when it’s busy, it doesn’t feel like it is - it wasn’t a loud environment and was actually really relaxed upstairs! Usually when I go to salons I find everything very overwhelming , the sounds, smells, sensations, sitting for a long time etc, but I honestly felt completely comfortable here. Claire did my balayage colour and cut and she was so friendly and lovely. She really listened to what I wanted and I am so happy with my hair, she’s done a great job. Danni (hope that is spelled right) washed and dried my hair, and she was also so lovely and we had a great chat! Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back again next time I need to have my hair done!

Met Rebecca for the first time on Friday; I’ve not seen a hairdresser in about 7 years because I’m so incredibly self conscious about having alopecia.Within minutes, I felt comfortable and looked after. I felt completely listened to when we discussed what to do, and watching someone work who clearly loves what they do so much was such a treat.Could not be happier with the wolf cut she gave me, and cannot wait to see her again. Absolute credit to your salon, and the industry. ❤️
